Présentation : I've been programming for a good 7 years, and I've programmed in well over 20 languages, including functional style languages. Most of the reversing I do is native, net, java, or some obfuscated scripts. I have experience with using IDA Pro, ollydbg, windbg, gdb, etc and a lot of experience with the windows operating system internal stuff, PE files, etc , WINAPI, POSIX, and a little experience with linux.. I can do most things easily, with the exception of harder native projects involving a lot of math or really huge virtual machines. I've decided to major in computer engineering because I wanted to know more about the hardware aspect of things. Additionally, the only pure software degree my university offered was computer science, and they seemed to only really teach Java, Python, and Haskell with insane amounts of discrete math and statistics. Is computer engineering a good degree for me Or should I change it to computer science I've done some tinkering with digital circuits and some programming for microcontrollers in the past very little, mostly on the atmega168 submitted by andbitmask link comment
