It works by connecting to the host on a specified port, via TCP or UDP, and sending random lengths of random characters in an infinite loop until the service stops responding. With bare modification, this code can check for many types of vulnerabilities in just about any server that accepts input. A few more lines could add a user interface, specifications for more target input, logging functionality, and more.
